Testing your Florida well

Florida has no statewide rule requiring private well testing, according to UF/IFAS.1 FL DOH and UF/IFAS recommend testing at least yearly. The U.S. EPA recommends yearly tests for total coliform bacteria, nitrates, total dissolved solids and pH, plus extra testing after flooding or whenever something changes.1 2 3
